In a recent report to the Director, Defense Contract Audit Agency the Inspector General wrote in its memorandum, "We found that the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) did not exercise professional judgment in performing 37 (74 percent) of the 50 FY 2010 assignments reviewed."
Not exactly what the DCAA needed to hear after making reforms to their audit methodologies in 2009, which came on the heels of a scathing report issued by the IG in 2008.
